Paste auto-designed your slides. You dropped in any content and it laid everything onto a grid view you could read at a glance, instantly styled to your company's brand, ready to shape and present with your team in real time. The promise was simple: stop making slides, start pitching ideas.
I joined as a product designer and grew into a team leadership role as the team expanded — working across product, research, and marketing on the strategic challenges of a new product, next to the day-to-day design work. Early on, I rebuilt onboarding so new users activated as deck creators and brought their teammates in. Later, I ran the user research that exposed the biggest gaps in the editing experience and designed the features that closed them. The aim throughout was to bring ease and delight to making slides; to make Paste a canvas you could think on.
